Company History: 

P.B. Odom Sr. migrated from Mississippi to Oklahoma in the 1920’s, and built his first home in 1930. He envisioned Oklahoma as a “land of opportunity” and his children and grandchildren share his vision today.                                                    

Paul B. Odom, Jr. was raised in south Oklahoma City. He attended Moore schools and graduated from Capitol Hill High School and attended Oklahoma State University. He served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict. He began the construction business in 1955 with the help and guidance of his father. His first commercial endeavor was the purchase of property at 74^th and South Pennsylvania in the early 1960’s. He built his first office building at 7204 South Pennsylvania in the late 1960’s. And his present office located at 9401 S. Pennsylvania Ave. in March of 2009.

Today he develops land for residential, retail and commercial use. He also develops and builds apartment complexes and retail shopping centers and manages them. Odom companies have built at least a thousand homes in the Oklahoma City and Moore area and thousands of feet of commercial and retail space, as well as apartments and town homes.

His son Paul B. Odom III began his business in much the same way as his father, by building a home with help and encouragement from his grandfather. Today his company is responsible for developing and building Chatenay Square Shopping Center and the development of some of the most exclusive residential properties in south Oklahoma City including Rivendell, Briarwood Creek, Talvera and Rockport.  

David P. Odom, the grandson of Paul B. Odom Jr., and the son of Paul B. Odom III is the fourth generation of Odom builders and he is responsible for building many of the fine homes in Chatenay and Rivendell.                                                                                                                                                                                                     

Paul B. Odom Jr. has plans for long-term growth well into the 21^st century. The newest member of the Odom family to join the business will be his youngest son, Paul David Odom, who will began building homes while completing high school.

The Odom name is synonymous with quality and integrity, founded on the simple idea, “You treat people the way you would want to be treated; and in turn they will treat you right”.
